Established in 2000, NME Electrical Services carry out electrical installations for a range of developers throughout the midlands for new build housing and apartment blocks.
Clients are mainly national house builders such as Taylor Wimpey, Bellway Homes, Bloor Homes, Orbit Homes etc. But also work for smaller developers on bespoke houses.
We pride ourselves on our ability to give a highly personalised service to our clients.
Our team of electrical technicians have extensive experience in the installation of electrical systems, intruder alarms, fire detection, ventilation, MVHR, CCTV and external lighting systems.
Our motto of ‘it can be done and be done safely’ applies to all aspects of our workmanship, while working within the constraints of budgets and build programs.
NME Electrical Services undertake a variety of developments including large detached bespoke houses, national housing association development schemes and multiple phases on new build housing schemes for a wide spectrum of requirements.
They pride themselves on having a good relationship with NHBC (National House Building Council) and have been awarded the NHBC health & safety competence assessment scheme safemark for contractors.

NME Electrical Services are committed to providing an exceptional and trustworthy service to all our clients. With support from our dedicated electrical team, we carry out domestic electrical installations including security alarms to the highest award-winning standard.
Our electricians are supported throughout the house building process by our team of contracts managers who help them overcome any difficulties that may occur throughout the process of electrical installations in the new build housing market via their expert knowledge and training. They also support our clients and their site managers when arranging tight schedules to keep to the build program without compromising on quality.
Customer Services
Our devoted office-based team provide outstanding service offering friendly and helpful assistance with aftercare to ensure customer satisfaction.
Our experienced and fully qualified maintenance team do all they can to carry out a prompt and efficient aftercare service dealing with warranty issues, to ensure that any issues are resolved in a timely manner with minimum inconvenience.

Our Key Staff
Andrew Pell
Director
Andrew started his career by training as a quantity surveyor with Walgrave Electrical and worked for 12 years in the industry gaining an in-depth knowledge of the commercial, design, estimating and site aspect of electrical installations. Andrew excels at working with clients, subcontractors and customers to resolve the day to day challenges brought by the progression of modern design and technology.
In 2000 Andrew left Walgrave Electrical and joined forces with Neil McAllister to create a partnership of NME Services and after 16 successful years working together, they transitioned into a limited company and are both directors of NME Electrical Services Ltd.
Neil McAllister
Director
Neil started his career as a JIB electrical apprentice for Shepherd Engineering Services after gaining experience once fully qualified set out on his own as a subcontractor working for various contractors carrying out electrical work for industrial, commercial and domestic projects.
After working independently for over 10 years he joined forces with Andrew Pell in a joint partnership forming NME Services, in 2000 after 16 successful years working with Andy Pell, together they turned NME Services into NME Electrical Services Ltd.
Gary Malin
Production Director
Starting off his career in 1986 as an electrical apprentice with Nene Electrical, Gary completed his electrical training qualifications and worked his way up to work as a Junior Contracts Manager, completing both technician and HNC level training at college.
After continuing his career as an approved electrician in the construction industry, he joined NME workforce in 2001 as an electrical contractor working on various projects, managing workforce on various large projects. Gary eventually moved into a supervisory role in 2010 as an Electrical Contracts Manager and continues to be a key part of NME team to ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality are maintained throughout.
Leigh Burdett
Commercial Manager
Leigh started at NME Services as an electrical apprentice, attending Northampton College on day release alongside being trained by NME as an electrician in new housing and commercial projects. After qualifying as an approved electrician, Leigh continued working on numerous housing and commercial developments for large housing developers.
Leigh has continued his training and experience in electrical installations including qualification, supervisory and health and safety roles as well as keeping up to date with the latest developments in the electrical industry including EV car charging developments.
Shaun Young
Electrical Contracts Manager
Shaun started off as an apprenticeship at Penn Electrical and studying at both Tresham and Northampton colleges. Once qualified as an approved electrician, he continued to study gaining higher levels of training including specialist areas such as solar PV and EV car charging. Having worked in the industry consistently for over 20 years and he is fully experienced in the industrial, commercial and domestic sectors, specialising in problem solving, electrical testing, customer relations. He has a passion for passing his extensive knowledge and skills on to upcoming apprentices.
Shaun joined NME in 2018 and has enjoyed progressing his career as an Electrical Contracts Manager with such a dynamic team.
Jamie Moss
Electrical Contracts Manager
Jamie used to be a semi-professional footballer before becoming a qualified electrician.
Jamie joined NME Electrical Services in 2014. He was promoted to Electrical Contracts Manager in 2021 and continues to be an integral part of the team.
Martin Mangan
Electrical Contracts Manager
Martin became a qualified electrician in 2003 and joined NME in 2004. After running many large new build electrical and training 4 apprentices, Martin was promoted to Electrical Contracts Manager in 2022
